We Always Find a Way

May 17, 2019

This unique flex, one of 8 such assemblies, will be part of a natural gas line being installed at the new Texas Ranger Stadium.  The stadium has a new 6″ diameter natural gas line crossing 8 building expansion joints requiring up to 4” all directional movement.

This hose assembly required some creative engineering.  Our experienced design team, headed up by Sean Cunningham, developed a double 4” flex manifold welded to four 6″x4″ reducing elbows which in turn were welded to 6” diameter Tees.  All the work was completed by our in house certified welders...

By Bob Cunningham

We at Cunningham Sales are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Mason Industries founder Norm Mason on Friday, February 1, 2019.

At the age of 94, Mr. Mason was still very active in running the company he started in 1958.  After serving his country, he set out to make a difference as a young mechanical engineer, and after a stint with Korfund, took the risk of beginning the company that continues his mission to serve others and solve problems.

This is who he was, and he encouraged those around him to do likewise.  He was a mentor for many of us, and he will be sorely missed.  For those interested, here is his story.  Thank you Norm. RIP

Mason safe for the New NSF-372 Drinking Water Requirements

January 2, 2014

In April we were all excited by approval of the UL (Underwriters Lab) as manufacturers of NSF-61 low lead requirements for drinking water, but quickly dismayed to find NSF-61 was phasing out to an upgraded NSF-372. However, somebody up there loves us as we are the first company in the industry to be approved for the new NSF/ANSI-372 listing with the even lower lead limits for drinking water...
